Join us for a spirited conversation about Scott's short stories featuring Anne Margaret Daniel ( New School and Bard College). Professor Bryant Mangum (Virginia Commonwealth University), and Associate Professor Jennifer Nolan (North Carolina State University).
Our panel of experts will be moderated by Professor Kirk Curnutt (Troy University), who is also president of the F. Scott Society.
Your host is Robert Steven Williams, the director of the award winning documentary Gatsby in Connecticut (Selected by The New Yorker as one of the Best Films of 2020)

Her edition of Fitzgerald’s last complete short stories, I’d Die for You and Other Lost Stories, was published by Scribner in 2017. She’s an expert on Scott, Zelda, Oscar Wilde, even Bob Dylan. Bryant Mangum (Professor @Virginia Commonwealth University) Bryant Mangum is Professor of English in the College of Humanities and Sciences at Virginia Commonwealth University. Author of A Fortune Yet: Money in the Art of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Short Stories and the editor of F. Scott Fitzgerald in Context and the Modern Library’s The Best Early Stories of F. Scott Fitzgerald. Jennifer Nolan (Associate Professor @North Carolina State University) Jennifer Nolan is Associate Professor of English at North Carolina State University. An expert in periodical studies, her work on the illustrations that accompanied Fitzgerald’s short stories such as “The Rich Boy” and “Bernice Bobs Her Hair” illuminates the visual contexts of American magazines during their heyday like the Saturday Evening Post.
