The killer nemesis for many salespeople and probably the most used objection by prospects even when price is not the real issue. In fact, it is NEVER about the price and yet falling for that ploy. While sometimes it is a legitimate concern the ploy is often hiding something else, sometimes it is stall and sometimes it is the start of a negotiation.
If you are not careful and well prepared you will end up giving a discount and that means giving away profit. Just think a 10% discount means you now need to sell 30% - 50% more to someone else to make up for the lost profit. That 10% discount can kill your bottom line.
