Advocating for Interoperability in the OR

Interoperability of medical devices, software, EHR, and caregiver personas remain one of the biggest challenges facing organizations today. This session will describe how advocacy for interoperability in the OR is necessary to improve patient safety, care equality, and outcomes, while reducing clinician burden and waste. Learn how applying a design-thinking framework from a systems level supports useful, safe, and satisfying care delivery – and how you can take action to improve interoperability at your facility.
