Scouts at War! World War II
This is a story of Service in face of adversity, that has it core the war-time social history of the Nation and the amazing role played by that its young people. Scouting as you will be aware is a world-wide multi-cultural pheonomina and the talk will reflect this not least by inclusion of the history of Jewish Rover Rover formed on board TS Dunera on its way to a prisoner of War Camp in Australia and how the crew help change the outcome of all on board for the better.

Born just in the final stages of WW2 Colin Walker have spent the last 70 Years of his life as a member of the British Scout Movement. A self appointed Scout Historian writing a well regarded website/blog Colin has published twelve Scouting Heritage books.This wealth of information has been led to a very active retirement giving talks all over the world to a whole range of audiences both in Scouting and otherwise.
