He specializes in programs that slow the progress of alzheimer's and dementia through cognitive and physical exercises. His organization, Home Helpers Home Care, provides competent and conscientious caregivers to work with a multitude of Seniors for housekeeping, cooking, driving to doctors and for errands. Their aim is to give peace of mind to children of elderly parents living at great distances from them. Vivian Green Korner
Dementia Care Specialist @Vivian Green Korner MA, CDP
Vivian's clinical experience is extensive, including hospital, residential, and community based setting. She earned an MA degree from New York University, is a Certified Dementia Care Practitioner, and held the position of Director of the Kaplen Adult Reach Center at the Tenafly JCC for 17 years, including an affiliation with the Alzheimer's Association for more than 15 years as a facilitator of caregiver support groups. Vivian trains home health professionals to render effective dementia care in the home, rehabilitation centers, and residential facilities and offer guidance and support to family caregivers to enable a higher quality of life for adults with dementia.
