Long-time Chicago election attorney Richard K. Means (www.richardmeans.com) will address the League of Women Voters on "Election 2020: The Top 10 Things You Need to Know" in a 90-minute virtual presentation and Q & A discussion. This virtual presentation is Thursday, September 17 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm CDT.
The discussion will be nonpartisan and focused on the processes of the election itself, not on the candidates or campaigns per se. Rich will cover topics such as the pros and cons of early voting, voting by mail, questions about whether the President has the authority to delay the election, etc.
If you've wondered about these and other questions, join us for a discussion with Rich, who tracks these issues for a living. He frequently speaks on election law at the Chicago Bar Association and other groups.
Zoom in on September 17th for a lively discussion on what to expect for Election 2020.
This program will be interpreted in American Sign Language for the hearing impaired.
