Long-Term Care: Meeting Health & Personal Needs
Join Madison Public Library Foundation from noon–1 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, for a free online presentation featuring several local experts who will speak on the topic of Long-Term Care: Meeting Health & Personal Needs.

For many people, the phrase “long-term care” conjures images of nursing homes and assisted living facilities. However, long-term care increasingly includes measures that help older adults remain in their homes as they receive services. According to AARP, more than two-thirds of people over 65 will require some type of long-term care in their in their remaining lifetime. Being prepared for the long-term care of your loved ones and yourself is a smart way to maintain control of your property, finances and health. It also takes the burden off your family and prevents them from feeling overwhelmed down the road.
