Dr. Jay Neugarten DDS, MD, FACS

Dr. Neugarten is a national and international known specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He was valedictorian of the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at North Shore University-Long Island Jewish Medical Center and earned a medical degree from the Stony Brook School of Medicine. Dr. Neugarten is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He maintains a private practice in New York City, where he focuses on reconstructive surgery. His implant area of expertise includes zygomatic implants. Dr Neugarten is an educator of residents and shares his expertise at The New York Hospital Cornell-Weill Medical Center and North Shore University-Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He lectures nationally and internationally regarding reconstruction of the atrophic jaws, orthognathic/craniofacial surgery, and zygomatic implants.
Yomi® is the first and only FDA-cleared robot-assisted dental surgery system. Yomi is a computerized navigational system intended to provide assistance in both the planning (pre-operative) and the surgical (intra-operative) phases of dental implantation surgery. The system provides software to preoperatively plan dental implantation procedures and provides navigational guidance of the surgical instruments. Yomi is intended for use in partially edentulous and fully edentulous adult patients who qualify for dental implants.
