Tim is a leading global advocate for child-friendly urban planning and a balanced approach to risk in children's play and learning. His work cuts across public policy, education, child care, planning, transport, urban design and playwork, and engages with academics, practitioners, policy makers, the media and the public. His book, No Fear: Growing up in a risk averse society was described by The New York Times as "a handbook for the movement for freer, riskier play." His new book will be out in the autumn.

Christine Murray is an award-winning editor and founder of The Developer magazine and the Festival of Place. She is former Editor-in-Chief of The Architects' Journal and The Architectural Review where she founded the Women in Architecture Awards (now W Awards). She is honorary fellow of the RIBA and the Royal Society of Arts.
