Soybean Planting Virtual Field Trip for Elementary Students
Take your students on a Virtual Field Trip to an Ohio Soybean Farm during planting this spring!

This virtual field trip will connect you directly with a northwest Ohio soybean farmer as he prepares his fields and plants soybeans for the growing season.

Students will:
• Get a live tour of an Ohio soybean field
• See the latest technology as you ride along on a tractor
• Hear how engineering design improves equipment like a planter
• Learn about seed germination, seed growth and how science improves yields
• Discover the uses and benefits of Ohio soybeans
• and more!

Trip length: 30 minutes

RECEIVE A FREE BOOK FOR YOUR CLASSROOM: Ohio elementary teachers registering for this trip may request to receive a free book, "Pod to Plate" for their classroom, which follows the journey of the multipurpose soybean from the moment it is planted in the ground. Limited to the first 50 requests.
