Dr. Lee Vien, OD, FAAO
Director of Optometric Operations @Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Medical Center
Dr. Lee Vien currently serves as the Director of Optometric Operations, Director of Optometric Trainees, Polytrauma Optometry Coordinator and the Co-Residency Coordinator at the VA Palo Health Care System. He also holds faculty appointments at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry and Southern California College of Optometry at MBK. He is a Vice-Chair of the AAO Admittance Committee and a reviewer for numerous peer review journals. He has published and nationally lectures in the areas of ocular pathology including glaucoma and optic neuropathies and the applications of optical coherence tomography.
Dr. David Yang, OD, FAAO
Chief of Optometry @VA Palo Alto Health Care System
Dr. David Yang is a graduate of the UC Berkeley School of Optometry. He completed his residency training in Geriatric/Hospital-Based Optometry at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center. From 1996 to 2009, Dr. Yang served on the faculty of the UC Berkeley School of Optometry and currently holds the rank of Clinical Professor. Presently, Dr. Yang is the Chief of Optometry and Co-Residency Coordinator for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. He is a Council Member for the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education and Co-Chair of the VA National Optometry Contact Lens Workgroup.
