Dr. Heredia also teaches a variety of psychology courses at East Los Angeles College: General Psychology, Lifespan Psychology, Child Psychology and Psychological Aspects of Human Sexuality. Tyrone Spears, WCCP, ARM-P, IPMA- SCP (Chief, Workers' Compensation Division @City of Los Angeles) Mr. Spears is the Chief of the Workers’ Compensation Division for the City of Los Angeles. He is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the workers’ compensation programs which includes three third-party administration and an in-house self-administered program. Mr. Spears started his workers’ compensation career over 20 years ago at ESIS as a Claims Examiner Trainee and quickly moved into a Claims Examiner role, and later became a Senior Claims Examiner. Tyrone then worked for Sempra Energy as an administrator overseeing workers’ compensation, short/long term disability, and FMLA.
