Jason Warner

Jason Warner is the CTO of GitHub, the world’s largest software development platform, where he oversees the Office of the CTO, whose mission is to explore the unknown and non-existent aspects of technology and software in order to build a map of GitHub’s future. Jason was previously Senior Vice President of Technology at GitHub, where he played an integral role in scaling the engineering, product and security teams, and building GitHub’s product roadmap to fit the needs of developers around the world. Prior to joining GitHub, Jason was Vice President of Engineering at Heroku. Jason holds a BS in Computer Science from Penn State University and an MS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
John Koetsier
Journalist @Forbes, VentureBeat
John Koetsier is a journalist, analyst, author, and executive, and has chronicled the rise of the mobile economy. He writes for Forbes, hosts several video podcasts including TechFirst with John Koetsier, and consults with companies like Mobile Growth Summit, CleverTap, Singular, TUNE, Staples, and ReadWrite. He was TUNE's mobile economist and Singular's VP of Insights, before which he built the VB Insight research team at VentureBeat and managed teams creating software for partners like Intel and Disney.
