Jennifer Deren
Former Admissions Reader, Williams College @InGenius Prep
Hi! I’m Jenny Deren, a Former Admissions Officer and Graduate Coach based in Central Massachusetts. After graduating summa cum laude from Dartmouth College with an A.B. in English, I completed a Ph.D. in English from Tufts University. I have ten years of experience teaching college-level writing and literature at Tufts, Providence College, and the College of the Holy Cross. As an Admissions Reader at Williams College, I read hundreds of college applications, gaining insight into the admissions process and the characteristics of clear, compelling applications. I am thrilled to combine my skills as a writing instructor with my admissions experience to help students identify and articulate their passions, craft engaging profiles, and prepare for their collegiate futures.
