Georgia leaders and patients will come together in the town hall meeting to discuss how the lack of early detection screening, community awareness, treatments knowledge and other factors impact on the prostate cancer racial disparity. The panel of leaders will also explore collaborative actions that can be taken in Georgia towards eliminating the disparity. The online audience will be able to participate by presenting questions to the meeting participants.
The town hall meeting will be moderated by Mr. Thomas Farrington, PHEN Founder and President. Brief presentations will be made by Rev. Adrian Backus, Director of Community Outreach, and Dr. Keith Crawford, Director of Clinical Trials and Patient Education, outlining prostate cancer statistics for Georgia and PHEN's efforts within the state.
