Safety in Your District’s Digital Playground
Today’s students are growing up in a digital playground, which has been amplified by the recent transition to the distance learning model. Now more than ever, technology navigates students’ private and public lives. However, the permanence of online activity can be a difficult concept for adolescents to understand, leaving them vulnerable in the digital world.

A child left unattended in a park and a child online can face the same dangers: bullying, suicide, drug and alcohol abuse, and acts of violence. While student safety has come a long way over the past few decades, we’re still not where we need to be in terms of keeping our students safe.

Hear Bill McCullough, Gaggle’s VP of Sales, discuss the key components of student and school safety, his experiences with school districts across the country, and solutions for prevention. Bill will also cover how Gaggle’s student safety tools keep a close eye on how students are doing both during and after school hours as they engage in the education from home, helping districts identify those who may be struggling. Together we can keep our students safe and engaged in the classroom.
