Join S&R Foundation's celebration of 2020 Kuno Award Winner Dr. Tamar Krishnamurti, Ph.D., assistant professor of medicine and clinical and translational science at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Krishnamurti has received S&R Foundation’s Kuno Award for her development of MyHealthyPregnancy, an app used by women, including those in underserved communities, to identify and intervene in health risks associated with pregnancy.
S&R Foundation’s Kuno Award for Applied Science for the Social Good is a biennial award designed to support women social innovators using scientific research and principles to address a 21st Century problem. The award supports the translation of scientific research to a practical, real-world solution for those aiming to achieve broad social impact.
The Kuno awardee is provided with $100,000 in funding. This award will support Dr. Krishnamurti's ongoing work in developing tools for addressing maternal health needs.
