When you only have a specific amount of money to spend, its important to plan ahead. Control your spending by allocating your funds by year, quarter, or month across your Profit and Loss categories.
QuickBooks Online has the additional ability to subdivide by specific Customers, so you can create a budget for jobs and projects. You can also create budgets by class to divide up your revenue streams.
Well also look at 3rd party apps like Divvy that allow you to allocate your funds through employee credit cards.
