In that time, he spent 16 years in the logistics career field. Stacy’s favorite assignment while serving was as a Supply Management Instructor. He was accountable for teaching Supply courses to over 1,200 students annually; logged over 2,700 podium hours. In his time teaching he received the coveted “Master Instructor” Certification, less than 8% of instructors ever reach this pinnacle. After Mr. La Barko retired from the Air Force he became the Training and Program Development Director, At the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau for seven years. Here Stacy developed and implemented professional development programs & trained staff to include over 61,000 members. Stacy Currently is a Supply Chain Instructor at Hill AFB Utah. Here Stacy instructs students in different supply systems. He also instructs people across the base in different professional development workshops. Michael A. Carmody (Deputy Division Chief @Contracting Workforce Development Division, for the United States Air Force) Mr. Michael Carmody is the Deputy Division Chief, Contracting Workforce Development Division, for the United States Air Force (SAF/AQCX), responsible for leading developmental opportunities for the contracting career field. Previously he was the Director of Business Operations for the 316th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. There he served as the squadron’s senior civilian contracting official, assisting the Squadron Commander in leading a contracting organization of 51 personnel responsible for a $1.3B contract portfolio. Mr. Carmody entered public service under the Student Career Experience Program and subsequently transitioned into the Copper Cap internship program. He has held positions in execution as a contract specialist, contracting officer, career broadener, and program manager; and he has worked in a variety of areas including installation support, research and development, sustainment, systems, test and evaluation, and Foreign Military Sales programs. William "Rene" Arnold (Informational Program Specialist @637th International Support Squadron, 637th Training Group) William R. Arnold is an Informational Program Specialist at the 637th International Support Squadron (ISS), 637th Training Group (TRG) / Defense Language Institute English Language Center (DLIELC) at Joint Base – San Antonio (JBSA), Lackland, Texas. DLIELC trains international and United States military and civilian personnel to speak or teach English by providing high – quality instruction. Mr. Arnold supports over 500 civilian and military personnel as the curator and inventory manager for repository of bestowed student mementos, and gifts from international military students (IMS) and dignitaries. He is the Field Studies Program (FSP) Flight forms and publications manager: composes, revises, maintains FSP applicable DLIELC forms and directives. Mr. Arnold is the flight’s Records Professional, Electronic Records Management (ERM) Point of Contact (POC). He manages and maintains office inventory of records, approved lesson plans, budgets and planning documents, and FOUO documents.
