Fan Fundamentals - Level 2, Module 1 (Aerodynamics)
Earn a PDH (Professional Development Hour) for attending this informative webinar. The purpose of this presentation is to educate industry professionals on the basics of fan aerodynamics in order to gain a better understanding of the suitability of various product types for particular applications.

At the end of this presentation, you will be able to:

1. Describe how the fan affinity laws work, and why changes in size and speed independently impact fan/system interaction.
2. Apply dimensionless parameters to aid in determining a fan type’s suitability for a given application.
3. Evaluate whether a custom (heavy industrial) fan is required or a catalog (general industrial) offering is sufficient for a given application.
