On April 29, the Federal Government put through an Order in Council to implement pieces of Bill C-71, resulting in a back-door registry for firearms as of May 18.

How did this ‘shadow registry’ come about and what does it mean for firearms owners in British Columbia?

What action should hunters, sport shooters, and collectors be taking?
