Respiratory 2020. Asthma, COPD & Biologics; Lung Nodules & Cancer Pathways.
Holmesglen Private Hospital invites General Practitioners to attend this live, online and interactive meeting with Dr Amanuel Tesfai, Dr Amir Zangiabadi and Dr Eric Kuo.

Activity ID: 213991

In this meeting, we will discuss GP's management of common lung conditions including Asthma, COPD, Biologics and Puffers. We will also be investigating lung nodule detection and cancer pathways. This will include looking at different investigations required for a diagnosis of each of the problems and to provide GP's with a general overview of how they will treat and manage patients. We aim to assist GP's in the diagnosis and management pathways for common respiratory presentations and provide pathways for referral.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Manage common asthma, COPD, biologicals and puffer selection understanding conservative versus aggressive management in the GP clinic;
2. Manage the patient presenting with a suspected lung nodule with an understanding of selective operative management pathways, utilising the latest diagnostic technology, to identify the nodule, and the subsequent cancer pathways for patients.

Healthscope is a CPD education provider under the RACGP CPD Program.

GPs are invited to direct any pre-meeting questions for the presenters to Rob Stewart (rob.stewart@healthscope.com.au).

If registrants do not wish to receive further clinical updates, or invitations to educational seminars, from the facilitators, please email rob.stewart@healthscope.com.au prior to the activity.
