David Diaz-Infante, has metalforming and servo press experience to help solve your stamping application challenges and increase productivity. With several industry-published articles, David worked under Dr. Taylan Altan at The Ohio State University’s Center for Precision Forming. His expertise includes: • Part quality and process improvement using servo press and servo cushion capabilities in sheet metal forming, including the use of Advanced High Strength Steels (AHSS) • Improving blanking/piercing of AHSS by determining factors causing defects along the cut edge • Lubricant performance evaluation for stamping operations at different forming speeds and temperatures • Prototype Design:Tool re-design for testing lubricant performance and tool coating in stamping operations • Computer Aided Engineering capabilities, focused on sheet metal forming • Sheet metal material characterization from tensile and bulge test
