Pancreatic Cancer & You - A FREE Webinar by The Pancreatic Cancer Initiative, a MCRA enterprise.
Join us, with collaboration with US organisation, CCD (Cannabis for Cancer Declaration), for our webinar to listen to medical and scientific expert presentations, discussing Pancreatic Cancer. Diagnosis, the course of the disease, current treatments available and how cannabinoid medications may help with symptoms, patient testimonials, will all be discussed. We will also have a patient in-webinar question and answer session at the end.

◾ Prof Marco Falasca, Head Metabolic Signalling Group, Curtin Medical School/Curtin Health Innovation Research Institute at Curtin University of Western Australia: A specialist in metabolic science, Professor Falasca will present his preclinical work on pancreatic cancer using chemotherapy in combination with cannabinoids. He will also explain his plan to progress to patient trials.

◾ Jason Jordan, MCRA director, to interview 2 patients and their experience with MC for Pancreatic Cancer

◾ Dr David Ransom, Upper GI and NET Services, Consultant Medical Oncologist at Fiona Stanley Hospital : Discussing PC diagnosis, prognosis, the course of the disease and current treatments available.

◾ Dr James (Jim) Connell, Cannabinoid Specialist GP, Forage Medicine & Lifestyle: Cannabinoid medications for cancer symptoms and chemotherapy side-effect mitigation; the Endocannabinoid system; Phytocannabinoids; formulations used etc.
