Shakira is the Latin music artist that most Latino podcast listeners say they would be interested in hearing host her own podcast. This preference for the Hips Don’t Lie singer is just one of many findings that will be revealed in the third annual Latino Podcast Listener Report, which will debut in a webinar on Tuesday, August 16 at 2pm EDT.
The Latino Podcast Listener Report tracks emerging habits and preferences among listeners, including reasons Latino listeners choose video podcasts, actions they take because of podcast ads, and how they feel about ads on Spanish podcasts.
The study from Edison Research was commissioned by Adonde Media, LWC Studios, Libsyn, PRX, and SXM Media, and will be presented by Gabriel Soto, Senior Director of Research at Edison Research, and Elsie Escobar, She Podcasts Co-founder and Community Manager at Libsyn.
Soto and Escobar will also share updates on baseline statistics from prior years, and will present video interviews of U.S. Latino podcast listeners.
