This Excellence Chat will highlight the "Why", the "What", and the "Why Now" of the Organizational Excellence Standard.

Excellence Canada's original Standard was created in 1984. It has evolved periodically over the years based on input from many experts across Canada. The 2021 version, launching this month, helps any organization continually improve and it aligns with current challenges including increased focus on urgent issues, such as:

- Equity, diversity and inclusion
- Agility and adaptability to changing times (e.g., remote work)
-Future proofing your organization to ensure sustainability
-Enterprise risk management (e.g., crisis management/pandemic planning)

-The future of work and the workplace
