Kristy Wolfe

Kristy Wolfe’s experience as a heart mom lies at the centre of her passion for documentary style photography. Based in Canmore, Alberta with her husband and two sons, Kristy has been telling stories through photography for the past 8 years. Kristy’s background as a teacher inspires her love for mentoring others. She regularly speaks at conferences and enjoys working with both kids and adults to create visual stories and develop personal photography projects.

Dr. Raj was brought up near Birmingham in Alcester, one of the smallest towns in England. After completing medical school in Manchester, she began Residency training in Family Practice….but never finished as she met her Canadian husband to be. After marrying, she moved to Nashville TN and completed her Residency in Psychiatry and Fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at Vanderbilt University. She joined the Vanderbilt University Faculty as a Consulting Psychiatrist, developed Vanderbilt’s Electroconvulsive Therapy Service and started a Cardiac Mood Disorders Subspecialty clinic. In July 2014, she moved to Calgary. She consults as a general outpatient psychiatrist, educates Family Practice residents as part of their Mental Health training, and is the director of the Calgary Hearts and Minds Clinic, which she founded in September 2016. This program provides psychiatric consultation and short term treatment to patients referred by any Cardiology service in Calgary and surrounding area.
Dr. Justin Ezekowitz, MB, BCH, MSc, FRCPC, FACC, FAHA, FESC
Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology, Director of the University of Alberta Cardiovascular Research Institute
Dr. Justin Ezekowitz is on faculty as a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology, Director of the University of Alberta Cardiovascular Research Institute, and Co-Director of the Canadian VIGOUR Centre at the University of Alberta. He is a cardiologist at the University of Alberta Hospital and Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute. His research and clinical focus is on heart failure. He is involved in numerous clinical trials in heart failure as a site investigator, and on the steering or executive committee for several multicenter international trials. He is also involved in the design leadership and implementation of several investigator-initiated trials funded through governmental and non-governmental research agencies. In addition, he works with population health, registry-data and other data sources on clinically applicable research using advanced data analytics around health system change and disease risk.
