ABOUT THE WEBINAR
Welding and joining are some of the most predominant processes applied in various manufacturing industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Marine, Oil & Gas and Offshore, Petrochemical and Power Generation and Precision Engineering industrial sectors. Through this Webinar, we will introduce the SGUnited Skills (SGUS) Programme for Advanced Welding Technologies Robotized Processes. The SGUS programme is a full-time Train & Place programme of 9 months duration. With over 150 graduates in the past few years, AWT course has played an important role to provide high demand welding professionals for the various industries in Singapore. With the new addition of SGUS programme, we will continue to train more competitive welding professionals.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Senior management, engineering or operation managers, engineers, inspectors, supervisors or foremen, and welders. Retrenched and unemployed professionals.

He has more than thirty years of experience in the field of materials joining, having worked in the research institute, university, and industrial environments. Dr Sun, who specializes in welding processes and welding metallurgy, has published over a hundred and twenty papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He was the joint recipient of the 1995 National Technology Award for contributions to the marine repair processes using electron beam technology. Dr Sun is currently the President of Singapore Welding Society (SWS).
