A View from The Labour Party – Prospects for the Economy and the City

Copia Capital is delighted to announce our next webinar with guest speaker Tulip Siddiq, the Labour MP for Hampstead and Kilburn. As a member of Labour’s Shadow Treasury team, Ms Siddiq will share an outline of Labour’s policies for the economy, the City and for the regulatory environment.

A Member of Parliament since 2015, Ms Siddiq’s experience also includes time as Shadow Children and Early Years Minister, her campaign for flexible working, and close involvement in the campaign to free Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe.

The webinar will also feature Copia’s Chief Investment Officer, Hoshang Daroga, who will kick off the event with a focus on the local election results, due on 5 May, and what they might mean if they were repeated at a General Election. He will look at how markets tend to react to a change in Government and highlight what is most likely to impact UK bonds and UK equities.

The webinar will run from 12:45 pm to 1:45pm will conclude with a Q&A session with both speakers.
