Andy has an extensive experience in subsurface mapping and surveys, and specialises in developing bespoke surveys for clients. With a background in utility mapping and multifaceted GPR surveys, Andy is ideally suited to providing solutions to even the most complex subsurface mapping scenarios. With a strong belief in protecting staff and assets, Andy is always seeking new ways to conduct surveys remotely and non-intrusively to reduce risk.
David Graham
Associate Director @Murphy Surveys
David heads up the Subsurface Engineering Division in Ireland, supporting clients investigating the underground environment in order to plan, design and construct with confidence. David’s career spans over two decades specialising in the utilities and engineering sector. David has also been instrumental in the formation of multinational joint venture teams to successfully manage projects requiring multi-disciplined resources shaping the future of the utility industry in Ireland.
Paraic Quirke
Research and Engineering Manager @Murphy Surveys
Paraic Quirke joined Murphy Surveys in August 2017 as Research and Engineering Manager. Coming from a consulting engineering background in the transport infrastructure sector, Paraic did his PhD in detection of railway track settlement and bridge damage with Irish Rail. On-board geospatially referenced sensor measurements were used to detect defects and alignment issues on the railway. Since joining Murphy Surveys, Paraic has managed the implementation of a number of innovations in the business including development of a suite of apps, establishment of a in-house GIS, development of a new data delivery portal and improvements to the visualisation of utility information.
