Visualization of Cas9 binding to DNA at the single-molecule level
In this webinar, we are going to study the specificity and binding kinetics of the Cas9 complex binding to DNA, while being able to discriminate on- vs. off-target genomic positions. To this end, we are going to combine the ability to apply tension to a single DNA molecule, thereby inducing different DNA conformations, with the ability to visualize local binding of the Cas9 complex via confocal fluorescence imaging.

During this session, we will demonstrate that the LUMICKS C-Trap is an excellent tool to assess the potential and challenges of specific CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing tools.
