He did something unusual - he hatched a plan to buy it. And he did precisely that! He bought out Valiant in a bankruptcy sale, revived it and struck 4 Hollywood movie deals over the next 6 years before selling it for a profit. Bloodshot, a movie starring Vin Diesel was released last year and was one of the 4 movies.
