Community Foundation of the North State is hosting a virtual grant workshop for interested nonprofits on Wednesday January 20 from 3-4 pm. Program Officer Megan Conn will share more about our spring 2021 grant opportunities and updates to the programs including: ACEs Resilience & Hope Fund, Burney Regional Community Fund, The McConnell Fund, and Redding Rancheria Community Fund. A great chance to learn more about the programs and get pro-tips to help your organization submit the strongest possible applications.

Megan joined the Community Foundation of the North State’s team in Spring 2020 with 15+ years of experience rallying support for local and national nonprofits including Turtle Bay Exploration Park, Best Friends Animal Society, and Oregon Ballet Theater. She is a graduate of CSU Chico with a degree in Anthropology, a 2011 Redding “20 under 40” recipient and a 2017 graduate of Leadership Redding. Growing up in the pines of Paradise, Megan is most at home outdoors. In her spare time, you can find her with her husband and their dog as they hike, paddle board, snowshoe and berry pick their way around the beautiful north state.
