Global Health's Centrality to U.S. Foreign Policy: The Best Policy Tools
If we've learning anything in the last year, it's the great necessity of global health to U.S. foreign policy. This virtual panel, hosted by Friends of the Global Fight, Foreign Policy for America, and the George W. Bush Institute, will discuss what the most useful current and future policy assets are to apply and ask questions like:

• In responding to COVID-19, how should U.S. international leadership adapt and what shifts in U.S. policy or programming are needed?
• And how can the U.S. leverage mechanisms it has invested in - like PEPFAR and the Global Fund - to advance health security, women's opportunity, and development?

The event will feature opening remarks from Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA), Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) (taped remarks), FP4A Executive Director Andrew Albertson, and Bush Institute Executive Director Holly Kuzmich, followed by a moderated panel discussion and Q/A session. Panelists include:

• Joshua Blumenfeld, Managing Director of Global Policy and Advocacy and Chief Legal Officer, Malaria No More
• Joanne Carter, Executive Director, RESULTS
• Dr. Jendayi Frazer, Duignan Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution and Adjunct Senior Fellow for Africa Studies, Council on Foreign Relations
• Moderator: Shannon Kellman, Policy Director, Friends of the Global Fight
