Join Downtown Partnership of Baltimore Tuesday, July 28 at 9am for a live webinar with three leaders of Baltimore’s Black business community and what it takes to create and sustain a successful enterprise in the current social and political climate.
The Black Lives Matter movement has driven support for Black-owned businesses to new levels and yet Black-owned small businesses have taken a huge economic hit due to longstanding racial disparities and a lack of access to resources. As a result, alarming new studies show that Black-owned businesses are shutting down at higher rates than white counterparts.
Webinar led by Councilman Eric Costello, and Downtown Partnership CEO, Shelonda Stokes. Guests include Toni Draper, CEO and Publisher at AFRO: The Black Media Authority, Natalie Karyl, Owner & Designer at Doll House Boutique, and Tony Randall, Managing Partner at Next Phaze Cafe.
