The Racial Justice Advocacy Forum (RAJF) and the African Foundation for Development (AFFORD) are hosting this webinar focusing on the restitution of items now in the possession of museums, galleries, cathedrals and churches.
These items, which are originally from Africa and the Caribbean, include priceless artefacts and human remains.

This is the latest in a series of RJAF webinars exploring reparations and it will cover:
• What ‘restitution’ means in this context
• What are the items in question?
• Who has them?
• What should be done?

Our stellar line up of speakers for this ground-breaking webinar include:

Onyekachi Wambu - Executive Director - AFFORD
Onyekachi is a former journalist and television documentary maker and is a respected voice on African affairs.

Dr Janice Cheddie - Research Consultant - AFFORD
Janice is a writer and researcher who has published widely on issues of visual culture, difference and cultural democracy. She is currently a Research Consultant for Afford.

Lily Reddie - Curator
Lily has a Masters Degree in Curating and Collections and previously worked for the British Museum in its Coins and Medals team. She has also worked as a Project Officer for the Methodist Church.

Wale Hudson Roberts - RJAF
Revd Wale Hudson-Roberts is a founder member of the Racial Justice Advocacy Forum and is the Justice Enabler for Baptist Union of Great Britain.

Dionne Gravesande (Chair)
Dionne is the Chair for the National Christian Leaders Forum, and Corporate Lead for Ecumenical Relations at Christian Aid.
