Mara Pessoa
Business Development Manager @Monaco Government Tourist Bureau (Visit Monaco)
Mara was born in Brazil moved to Australia in 2018. In Brazil, she managed all the strategic planning, marketing & communication efforts for Monaco Government Tourist Bureau in the South American markets. In 2019 Mara joined the Monaco team in the Sydney office and currently looks after MICE & Leisure business development in Australia and New Zealand. She is multilingual and known for her multicultural professional background and her genuine passion for Monaco.
Miguel Moraes
Head of Trade Marketing @Visit Portugal
Miguel has been with VisitPortugal for almost 30 years, holding different positions within the DMO, presently heading the trade marketing function, working in partnership with airlines, tour operators and other key industry players, to develop tourism flows into Portugal.
Sofia Hansson
Chair @European Travel Commission, Australia Chapter
Sofia has over twelve years’ experience in destination marketing. Since 2015, she has been responsible for leading Tourism Ireland’s operations in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to her role in Sydney, Sofia worked with Tourism Ireland for 6 years in various executive roles, including Senior Advertising Executive – Great Britain (GB) and Brand Partnerships and Trade Executive in both The Netherlands and GB. In March 2021 Sofia was appointed as Chairperson of European Travel Commission’s overseas chapter in Australia.
Livio Goetz
Vice-Chair @European Travel Commission, Australia Chapter
Livio has been working at the helm of Switzerland Tourism in Sydney since July 2019, driving new and repeat visitors to Switzerland from Australia and New Zealand. Previously, Livio worked as Head of the Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau in London for five years. A seasoned tourism expert, he started his career at the Switzerland Travel Centre in Zurich, followed by management positions at Lucerne Tourism (Switzerland) and Worldwide Events (UK).
