People Power and the Pandemic
(En castellano abajo/Spanish below) A miniscule spikey protein particle changed the world in a matter of weeks - bringing economies to standstill, causing shockwaves in governments, upending the way we work and live. For social movements, it has been a moment of both possibility and peril.

This final webinar in TNI's COVID Capitalism series will bring together a unique panel of activists, social movement leaders and thinkers to discuss how to make this pandemic a turning point towards system change. What can we learn from previous major global mobilisations? How can we build cross-sectoral and intersectional movements? What strategies and tactics do we need to confront entrenched corporate power and authoritarian governments? Where are the openings and obstacles to shifting the balance of power and putting people above profit?
