OmniVersa Practical Application Skilled Intervention for Impaired Balance (45 minutes)
This 45' non CE webinar will focus on the practical use of NMES to facilitate neuro reeducation, muscle hypertrophy, and reduction of disuse muscle atrophy. The hands-on lab demonstration will reinforce concepts and techniques using NMES for common treatment indications in rehab.
PENS, MFAC/LVPC, Functional Re-ed, and Functional Re-ed Assist will be demonstrated and discussed in terms of potential clinical scenarios.
There will be an opportunity for questions.

Sonal Gohel received her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Bay Path University in 2013. She was first introduce to biophysical agents on her last rotation during Occupational Therapy school. She quickly became passionate about biophysical agents and its tremendous success with various patients. Sonal’s experience is in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Sub-acute Rehabilitation Hospital, Spine Institute and travel therapy. She gravitates toward working with the geriatric population, individuals with neurological conditions, and integrating mindfulness into her practice. Currently Sonal is a clinical program consultant providing evidence-based education, supporting rehabilitation teams achieve outcomes, and integrate biophysical agents as an adjunct method of treatment.
