John Corcoran
Co-Founder, Rise25 Media
John’s path to podcasting wasn’t exactly a straight line. At 22 years old, he was an English major at a party school and not sure what he was going to do with his life. A year later, thanks to strategic networking, he was writing the President's words at the White House. After working as a Writer in the Clinton White House, he went on to serve as a Speechwriter in the California Governor's Office during the Davis Administration. He was also a practicing lawyer in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay area, and started the Smart Business Revolution podcast in 2011. Before long, he was generating more revenues from the podcast and associated blog than his legal practice, so he became a full time entrepreneur and hasn’t looked back. Diving deeper into the podcast world, he co-founded Rise25, helping B2B businesses connect with clients and referral partners and to get ROI — using a podcast.
