Lucia is a junior doctor from the UK and co-founder of Lead Exposure Elimination Project (LEEP), a health policy charity incubated by Charity Entrepreneurship. Lucia has been involved in Effective Altruism since University, where she co-led the Cambridge chapter of Giving What We Can. She's currently taking time out from clinical medicine to run LEEP and hopes to continue in a career path that integrates her medical background with opportunities for greater impact.
Mats Olsen
Founder of Covid Trial Dash, SVP Business Operations, Prevail InfoWorks; Senior Associate, Prevail Partners
Mats has 14 years experience in clinical development for biotech and biopharma companies as part of a CRO and its investment affiliate. Mats also founded COVID Trial Dash to accelerate COVID vaccine trials and has been the Philly EA group organizer for the last three years.
Jassi Pannu
Resident Physician at Stanford University, Biosecurity and Global Health Policy Researcher
Jassi Pannu is a resident physician at Stanford University who researches biosecurity and global health policy. At Stanford she is also an affiliate of the Stanford Existential Risks Initiative. She has previously worked for Google AI, the Future of Humanity Institute at Oxford University, and the Bipartisan Commission on Biodefense.
