Forefront Illinois Funders' Briefing & COVID-19 Updates

This biweekly call is exclusively for grantmakers and representatives of grantmaking institutions.

Briefings feature opportunities to hear from and share local, regional, and national updates on responses to COVID-19 and its impact on Illinois communities. Speakers and topics will be updated on a rolling basis.

On March 11, we’ll get an update on SHIELD Illinois, a new university-related organization expanding the reach of rapid-result, saliva-based testing to limit the spread of COVID-19.

On March 25, we'll hear from Illinois Humanities about their extensive analysis of their crisis-relief grantmaking of more than $700,000 to 177 unique organizations across the state.

On April 8, the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy (NCRP) will share insights from their recent report: The Cost of COVID: How the Pandemic Shifted Abortion and the Funds that Guard Patient Access, Rights and Justice.
