He started consulting with NSR (an Analysys Mason company) in 2010. He focuses on mobility markets, leads NSR's research on aeronautical and land-mobile opportunities and authors NSR’s Maritime SATCOM Markets, Energy SATCOM Markets and Government and Military Satellite Communications. He regularly provides his insights and analysis to NSR’s single-client consulting practice and is also a regular contributor to leading industry publications and forums. Brad started his work in the satellite communications industry as a Sustainable Development Projects Co-ordinator Intern with the GVF (Global VSAT Forum), where he worked on many GVF Regulatory Working Group (RWG) initiatives aimed at protecting satellite spectrum, increasing awareness of satellite services and working to promote regulatory reforms worldwide. Brad holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. Kartik Seshadri (Vice President International Division @HUGHES) Kartik Seshadri, Vice President at Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HUGHES), leads the company’s global service delivery of broadband products for international customers. In this capacity, he manages large networks for Hughes customers, bringing together end users, service operators and Hughes engineering teams to meet customers’ evolving needs in global communications and networking. Throughout his career, Mr. Seshadri has worked across the Hughes business from network engineering to product line management to marketing for international enterprise and operator markets. Prior to his current role, Mr. Seshadri worked on the Hughes HN/HX satellite ground system, to tailor network solutions to customer needs. Previously, he led the network engineering team supporting wideband time division multiple access (TDMA), and very small aperture terminal (VSAT) satellite network projects. Mr. Seshadri holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, USA. Bill Marks (Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer @Kymeta) Bill, a founder and senior executive in the satellite and cable TV industries for over 25 years, he is also an active investor in mobile platform technology and software as a service company. Prior to that, he was the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Maritime Telecommunications Network (MTN), which provides satellite connectivity and content to remote locations around the world. MTN’s customer segments include cruise lines, yachts, oil and gas, news agencies, aviation and the government and military. In 2007, Bill won the prestigious Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for his role there. Earlier in his career, he was involved with DIRECTV by founding a national sales and installation company that helped DIRECTV to become the fastest growing consumer electronic company in the US at that time. Before getting involved with satellite, he held several executive roles in cable TV, including as a multiple system owner and operator. Bladimiros (Blad) Stavropoulos (Senior Director of Product Management and Sales Engineering @Intellian Technologies) Bladimiros (Blad) Stavropoulos has over 17 years of experience in the Satellite Communication industry and is currently the Senior Director of Product Management and Sales Engineering at Intellian Technologies. Blad led the development of the world's first automatic switching 2.4m multi-orbit & tri-band VSAT antenna system, the Intellian v240MT. Intellian’s v240MT; won the Satellite Technology of the Year Award in 2018. Blad earned his PHD in Information Technology at Universidad Complutense de Madrid after completing his MBA at Universidad Metropolitana, Venezuela. He specializes in advanced and complex network design and Cryptography. In addition to English, Blad is fluent in Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. Blad is based in Florida but has traveled the world to share his expertise on Satellite Systems. In addition to traveling, Blad has a passion for baseball and the Marvel universe. Will Mudge (Vice President Engineering Operations @Speedcast) Will Mudge is the Vice President Engineering Operations at Speedcast developing global teleport and Low Earth Orbit Constellation strategies. Prior to his current roll; Will was the head of R&D engineering, Strategic Product Marketing Manager, and Program Manager at Speedcast and Harris Caprock. Will has a degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Engineering Physics.
