Knox Private Hospital invites General Practitioners to attend this live, online and interactive meeting presented by Dr Dinesh Natarajan and chaired by Dr Michael Wong.
Activity ID 209397.
Assessment of chest pain in general practice is challenging. General practitioners often feel uncertainty when dealing with chest pain. The role of new diagnostic tools is yet unclear. Therefore, we aimed to learn: whether or not GPs experience a change in incidence and presentation of chest pain, how GPs deal with uncertainty, and which thoughts, demands and doubts concerning new diagnostic tools occur.*
*The approach to patients with possible cardiac chest pain, William A Parsonage DM, MRCP, FRACP, et al, MJA 199 (1), 8 July 2103.)
Through this activity, GP's will be able to:
1. Identify how to tailor cardiac investigations to their patients
2. Discuss the cardiac investigations available for GP's and their patients
3. Discuss the clinical assessment of chest pain
Healthscope is a CPD education provider under the RACGP CPD Program.
