After over a decade of private practice, she launched her boutique law firm Victory Travel & Cruise Lawyers in 2021. Victoria has been passionate about travel and foreign languages from a young age. Originally from the UK, she studied English and French law at university. As part of her degree Victoria spent a year in Lyon France, where she immersed herself in French life (and croissants, baguettes, brie, vin rouge…!) After her studies, Victoria returned to France to work as a hotel receptionist for an English tour operator in an alpine ski resort. This gave her valuable first hand insight into the travel industry. Victoria chairs the Travel Law Special Interest Group of the Australian Lawyers Alliance and is a strong advocate of travellers' rights. She publishes consumer tips for safe holidays and actively educates consumers about the complex area of travellers' rights after injury.
