Lighting & Shooting Interviews is the bread and butter of the video production industry. It’s how many people make their living in this business. While shows like “60 Minutes” have big budgets, killer locations and large crews, most of us have to settle for much smaller budgets, less than ideal locations and crews of 1-3 people (which usually include you). And, the client still expects those interviews to look polished and professional.
To kick off the new year and to help you up your game in terms of lighting, Jem Schofield of theC47 is going to conduct an online workshop to help you light & shoot your interviews. It will feature little to no Powerpoint/Keynote slides and will be a “hands on” workshop with Jem demonstrating live how to get great results from 1-3 lighting fixtures (that don’t cost thousands of dollars), and a few light modifiers. In 45 minutes you will see at least 2-3 lighting set-ups that will help you light your interviews in different ways.
The workshop will also include a rolling Q&A with Jem so you can ask questions along the way.
