Lancer Group Presents: "1+1=3" – Creating High-Performance Mgmt. Teams in PE
Join us for this panel with 3 PE-backed CEOs of scale who are experienced in navigating transformational change within PE-Backed portfolio companies to generate returns. Our panelists include:

* Laura Ipsen – President & CEO, Ellucian (Backed by TPG and LGP)
* Christa Quarles – CEO, Corel (Backed by KKR)
* Sharon Love – President & CEO, Community Brands (Backed by Insight Partners)

In Bain & Co’s recently released Global Private Equity Report 2021, 71% of survey respondents said the caliber of the management team is the main source of deal success. 64% of respondents believe unsuccessful exits are due in part to the management team lacking the requisite skills – only 1% less than the top answer, unfavorable shifts in industry or competitive dynamics.

Bain concluded that “many firms see the value creation plan as an indispensable guide for planning – except when it comes to determining specifically who they need to execute those plans.” By failing to identify a nuanced set of competencies needed across the management team for a particular company at its stage of growth to achieve operational goals, firms are leaving money on the table.

On Friday, June 25, our panel of successful PE-Backed CEOs will be discussing how to create a high-performing management team and best execute a cultural transformation in order to drive returns over a portfolio company's next stage of growth.

We will focus on the strategies CEOs and their investors can use to generate returns and "de-risk" investments by creating a high-performance team, driving cultural transformation, and aligning operational capability with growth objectives.
