Everyone Counts: Strategic thinking to support a free and fair 2020 election
Join this exclusive 2-hour briefing to learn about Everyone Counts — an open-source meta-narrative, strategic grounding, and suggested tactics and principles that organizations can adapt to engage the public and our institutions to ensure a free, fair, and constitutional election and to swear in the government elected by the people.

Everyone Counts was created by organizers from national and local groups, democracy experts, civil resistance leaders and movement strategists with the goal of supporting organizations who want to act and are looking for narrative and strategic guidance that they can adapt to their conditions.

Drawing on findings and worst case scenarios from the Transition Integrity Project report, we have outlined potential civil society responses in case of institutional failure.

We believe that sustained mass participation is crucial for building the leverage we need to 1) shape the common sense and 2) influence decision-makers across a range of institutions to uphold their constitutional roles and ensure the voices of the people determine our next government

Join this session to learn our thinking on how to protect democracy before, during and after the election with a particular focus on how pressure can be applied to key institutions.
