She was then admitted as an attorney in May 2001, and in June of the same year, she obtained the right to appear in the High Court. Jacolien then completed her LLM in 2007 with a focus on Human Rights and Constitutional Law, and most recently, Jacolien qualified and obtained accreditation as a civil & commercial mediator. Jacolien commenced her career at the National Intelligence Agency in 2003 as a Counter Intelligence Investigator and has specialised in Labour Law since 2009, with a particular interest in dispute resolution and Labour law training.
