We will provide an overview of a number of topics including: a brief history of animal law, pet custody, BCHRT and CRT pet cases, animal cruelty, dangerous dogs, municipal by-laws and case examples.
Our presenter will be Victoria Shroff, adjunct professor of animal law at UBC’s Allard School of Law and one of the longest serving animal law practitioners in Canada.
